Nothing says "Happy birthday!" like a sweet table!

A few weeks ago I got to spend two unforgettable weeks with my two best friends in the world, my mom and my sister.  The three of us live thousands of miles apart, and we hadn't been together since my wedding, three years ago!
  
So you can imagine how excited I was that not only was I getting two weeks of quality time with them, but that it so happened that the dates coincided with both their birthdays! 

An impromptu sweet table was obviously in order!

My mom doesn't care for fondant, so I made a rustic SUPER TALL lemon-raspberry-poppy cake, with lemon cream cheese frosting and lemon curd filling, topped with fresh strawberries. 
I also made raspberry and lemon-orange blossom macarons, the former being my mom's favourite!

Midnight sweet table for a STUNNING Maddy K wedding

Some weddings are so jaw-droppingly unbelievable that I have to pinch myself when I walk into the reception hall.  This was definitely one of them.  Maddy K worked her magic to turn a gigantic hall into a candy dreamland, complete with cupcake, gourmet chocolate, strawberry and champage stations, among so many more!  
It was a great privilege to be part of such an incredible event!

Auberge St Gabriel Editorial Wedding Shoot: Behind the Scenes Video and Interview with Yours Truly!

One of my favourite memories since I've embarked on this wonderful adventure is the photoshoot with Amypunky at L'Auberge St-Gabriel.  So imagine my delight when I saw this amazing behind the scenes video by Little Potato Films!
It was a privilege to work with such talented and passionate people.  I wish I could work on projects like that every day!

Mariage Quebec "Rustic Chic" Editorial Shoot!

Oh my, so much has happened since I've last posted!  I will write a few posts, but first let me begin with the most exciting news:  My vintage Victorian brooch inspired cupcakes were featured in a gorgeous photoshoot for the wedding magazine Mariage Quebec!!

This was another collaboration with the ever fabulous Maddy K, who created the concept for the photoshoot, and some of the most talented cake, cookie and cake pop designers in the city.   I absolutely adore the result! 

These would be absolutely perfect for a wedding or shower sweet table!
